As a project architect, you ensure that projects run smoothly from design to completion. You are a key figure for your colleagues, departmental teams and the client.

- Responsibility for multiple projects assigned to you by the head of the practice.
- Ensuring that these projects run smoothly, from design to completion of the works.
- Managing and coordinating a small team of staff.
- As a key figure for your team, other departments and the client, making sure that the various scheduling aspects are aligned.
- Providing the customer with correct information on specific issues such as timing of execution.
your profile
- Training as an architect or architectural engineer with three to five years’ on-site experience in medium- and large-scale architectural projects.
- You have already completed at least one entire project (10,000 m² or more) from permit application to provisional handover.
- You are described as a flexible organisational talent who is accurate and proactive.
- You have mastered the art of collaborating with different parties and managing a team.
- Fluent Dutch; knowledge of French and/or English is a plus.

I started out as a designer at B2Ai, advanced to senior project architect and was promoted to head of the practice in Brussels. A challenging job with many responsibilities and your own input. You get the chance to work independently within the overall framework of the agency. Plenty of career-oriented opportunities for growth are on offer.
Every working day is different, varied work in a friendly, collaborative environment with excellent colleagues who are each unique in terms of background, knowledge and interests. A great agency for your first steps as an architect.
I chose B2Ai because of the major projects. Competitions that involve a certain complexity and layering; that’s what I like working on as an architect. In the design team, you get time to research and design a project with a vision, thoroughly. That allows you to use your creativity and explore concepts. Then there are workshops, where we look at each other’s designs and brainstorm them. As a trainee, these are educational moments.
Besides work, you will get to know the team well on architectural trips, at architecture cafes, on team building exercises, at after-work drinks or simply over a game of table football. Colleagues become friends. Which makes the workplace still more congenial. All this means that I am still more than happy to have chosen B2Ai.
